I also agree that plain text and HTML should be treated as separate entities. I also think formatted messages should be sent as attachments (PDF preferred) if formatting is necessary. IMO eye candy for a simple message is overkill. I work with people using a 300 baud modem with a shortwave radio and cellphones with an effective connection of 7,500 bps and they sure do not appreciate a message 5-10 times the size necessary to say the same words in plain text. That coupled with the ability to hide a nastie in a single pixel of HTML just doesn't make sense to me. I also feel zero motivation to reply to an HTML message in HTML. I do see the need for a cleaner conversion of HTML messages to plain text for replies. BTW, I use top posting for of my replies outside of this forum. Many folks appreciate it more than bottom posting. -- Take Care, Paul The Bat! v.3.61.09 Echo (Beta) on Win2k SP4-Rollup1 5.0.2195 ________________________________________________________ Current beta is 3.61.12 (Echo) | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
