There are messages to send, messages completed but not yet to be sent, and messages in progress. When a newspaper cartoonist works, s/he works in batches, and sends them all off to the his/her publisher. At some point at the syndicate, or in the newspaper somewhere, the whole group are waiting, but only one item is for today's paper. Picture all those cartoons sitting in the outbox. Today's wants to go today, tomorrow's on Thursday, etc. Meanwhile, the cartoonist is working on the batch next due at the publisher. Those belong in the draft folder. -- Dwight A.
