Because it increases used bandwidth and server HDD space by 10. Think
about it. I have a server with 70gb disk mirror and 200 users. Every
year I had about 10gb decrease in HDD disk space. But now, when
disabled HTML, I have about 1.5gb a year. Now image gmail.com numbers
and the money that goes nowhere but into chymney.
