They should go away if you select them with the left mouse button and
press "DEL". This is how it is working since years and how it is
working here using the actual beta 3.99.21 It is exactly the same way
as for attached files, .jpg for example.
If HTML part continues to not be deleted by the "DEL" button, please
open bug report.
