People stood up for change - that is why email has moved from plain
text to mostly HTML

Your analogy is poor. Using HTML has nothing to do and is no way
related to criminal activity

Who are you to assume this? I happen to do precisely that when it is
appropriate (i.e. TEXT)

HTML is in use around the world, and has grown in popularity. It is
not "evil" and YOU have turned this into a personal attack

That is an old adage, but I never heard of a historian presenting that
