Yes, but it may not be straight forward (I'll explain why), let's see if
I can lead you to it.
First of all, your context menu is different because, most probably, you
don't have (you never created) a CSAPI User Dictionary for your CSAPI
German Dictionary. Am I correct?
Now, if you have a CSAPI User Dictionary for German, and if you used it
before (i.e. with v3.99.29 or similar), unless you deleted the RIT
Registry key for some reason when upgrading to v4 (or doing a fresh
install), you should have a registry key entry similar to the one(s) I
have for Spanish and British English. See 'CSAPI_User_dics.reg.txt'
attached.
The, if you don't have this registry key, you need to create a CSAPI
User Dic for German and let TB know about it and where it is located.
The problem is that this not yet possible with current 4.0.14.x versions
of TB. Why?
Maxim's announcement of v4.0.14.3 says:
,----- [ ]
| [+] User dictionaries supported in CSAPI
`-----
which was actually also announced for v4.0.14.2 and I confirmed as
'working' in my <mid:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. But that
was actually and ONLY to use *existing* user dictionaries both for
spelling and adding words to.
But there is one thing I reported about 4.0.14.1 (wrongly announced
as 4.0.14.4) in my <mid:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> :
,----- [ ]
| Only thing I've seen so far is that in the Edit Dictionaries dialog
| (Spell Checker/Dictionaries) the three buttons 'New file...', 'Add
| file' and 'Removed' are always greyed out. Is there work still pending
| on this or is it a bug?
`-----
Perhaps I didn't insist enough on this and didn't open a BT and,
unfortunately, these three buttons are still disabled (greyed out) at
least here. And they are needed to create/add your CSAPI user
dictionaries. See where I'm getting at when I said it was not straight
forward.
Now, if those three buttons are also 'greyed out' in your installation,
as believe they will be, your only option before they 'are fixed' is to
revert to your last 3.99.2x version (where the buttons work) if you
have it available. This is why I keep several versions of TB (the
executable) with different names in my The Bat! directory (see
'my_program_dir' attached, it's a few days old but serves the
illustration purpose).
Finally, if you can revert to v3.99.2x, open editor and select 'Spell
Checker/Dictionaries' and you will get the Edit Dictionaries dialog
(see attached PNG). Then click on 'New File' and you will get the 'New
File' one also shown in attachment. But beware!, this will create a new
and empty user dictionary. So if you have a previously existing one,
either rename this or use a different name for the new one and then,
once created, 'Import' the old one to the new one. This will also
create the necessary Registry keys and you will then be able to user
your CSAPI User dictionary in v4.0.14.2/3.
I told you it wasn't straight forward, but that is what I did to get
mine working.
