Okay, this shows more sign of life for me than previous efforts, but
still fails to work.

Previously, no messages were created for mass mailings from a
secondary account where the QTs involved were specific to that
account.

Now, when I tried to test this, first I was told that I had no valid
S/MIME certificate for signing. Strange. The account does not have
"Use S/MIME" ticked in the account properties - options settings. The
QT used for the mailing asks for UsePGP and SignComplete.

So, to humour it, I generated a new S/MIME certificate when prompted
to provide one. Here, a side issue / bug was exposed. Even though I
generated a brand new valid certificate (and added the certifier to
the cert root address book), the OK button remained firmly disabled.
I had to cancel the operation and restart it to get to use the new
certificate. All academic really - I didn't ask to use S/MIME at all!!

Then, having got everything in place, the operation was thwarted by
another error - "No certificate for (first recipient)",

Now when I try to do the mass mail, all I get is:

Could not create a message for Recip Name
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Please check your free disk space and file system integrity.

The hard drive has only 7.2gb free. Would it need more than that? I
think not. The file system integrity is fine.

It's been quite a while since I have been able to mass mail.

Message creation from filters is also still a no-go for me from a
non-primary account.

Erm ... help?
