Hello I discovered that there are 2 attachment problems with The Bat version 2. They are making me crazy... Note that I have a lot of different accounts.
1) OLD ACCOUNTS (CONVERTED IN THE PAST FROM .MSB FILES WITH THE BAT) With version 1.62r, I have no problems and I can see these attachments. But with version 2, I cannot even see their icons. This remind me an old bug of version 1.XX that was solved in the past. This bug appeared when you: - Changed account name via Account\Properties\Name - Then when you click on any letter with attachment - attachment mark disappear and you cannot access your attachment until you will change account name to the original one and click on letter again. For example, look at this header: X-BAT-FILES: C:\PROGRAM FILES\THE BAT!\MAIL\nick\Attach\Plans2.doc I can access this attachment with 1.62r even if the attachment is anymore on this very old location (the original location). But with version 2, I cannot see anymore it. 2) NEW ACCOUNTS Here the problem is that the size of almost all my attachments is now 0. I can see the icon of the documents but when I open them, they are empty. I start again V1.62r (I renamed the EXE) then I can open these attachments. The strange thing is that I don't have this bug with all my accounts but only on someone. I tried to open the same word document attached to a recent mail: - When I open it with V1.62r, it works and the document is opened at its real adress which is: G:\Mes documents\mail\old (juin 02 - juil 03)\Attach\enregistrement.doc - But when I try to open the same attachment with V2, I don't know why it try to open my temp directory which is on another disk: E:\temp\bat\1C1E9831.doc And here obviously the document is not present. Please help me because I really don't know how to solve. Note also that there is apparently no relation between these 2 bugs at the manner I store attachments. For some account, I keep attachment files in a separate account and on other accounts they are inbodies. But the 2 bugs appear in all the case.
