Hello Ron,

Historians believe that Sun, 6 May 2001 at 16:04 GMT -0400 was when,
Ron Secord [RS] typed the following:

<snip>
RS> Is there a macro or a RegEx that I can put in my template that
RS> will use his *real* initials?
</snip>

Yes. I've been using this set of macros to do exactly that job:

<begin template>
%QUOTESTYLE='=%SETPATTREGEXP="(?is)(\w).*?([-_=@\.\s]+(\w).*?)?([-_=@\.\s]+(\w).*?)?$"%REGEXPBLINDMATCH="%ABofromNAME=""%SETPATTREGEXP="""^(?(?=.*?\@)(.*?)\@|(.*)$)"""%REGEXPBLINDMATCH="""%OFROMNAME"""%SUBPATT="""1"""%SUBPATT="""2""""""%SUBPATT="1"%SUBPATT="3"%SUBPATT="5"'
<end template>

It works great for me, and it limits the number of initials to three.
That was my personal preference, but could be modified if you so
choose.
