You can also add the smtp from yahoo in the list (smtp.mail.yahoo.com)

No. I've checked that before in the headers : the mail was sended by
the correct smtp ... sure about that (in the mozilla newsreader, I
used at home both the news server and the smtp server from work).

Unfortunately, I've removed Mozilla (even if improved, the last version v0.9 is poorly
stable)
I have searched for a mail reader with similar functions (I mean able
to manage different accounts from everywhere). The Bat! seems to do
the job ... excepted the smtp 'procedure' :-(
