It's not too difficult and there are many possibilities. If you look
at these messages in the archive you'll see "Januk's Patent Initial
Extractor".

A simpler method is to keep the initials in the AB record, in the MEMO
or the Prefix (for example) and have an AB template for the group
housing any such names that states %QUOTESTYLE="=%ABtoNamePrefix". Or,
simpler still, and individual AB template with %QUOTESTYLE="=ABC"
(where ABC are the initials you want to use).
