I've just discovered that Mozilla has included THE most powerful spam
filtering system available - Bayesian filtering as part of its e-mail
client. It comes as standard. Nice to see this technology entering the
mainstream. Pity that TB! plug-architecture will not easily support Bayesian
filtering, as you need a dynamically maintained "bad" and "Good" lists. Once
each are of a sensible size you start the Bayesain filter, and it
characterises the arriving email as Spam - or not. (all Stats based). I
don't see how this approach will fit in with the intened keyword based
Anti-Spam filters in TB!
Anyway.. if you are interested.. see
