It's not a job I do very often. Actually - it's not anything I've done for a long time. Here's a thought. Another thing that could be lost is a deleted flag. Could these messages have been unread / deleted? Other than that, I'd say it seems odd. I don't think the "read / unread" state is actually kept in the tbi file :-/.
