Marck- MDP> Other than that, I'd say it seems odd. I don't think the "read / MDP> unread" state is actually kept in the tbi file :-/. I'm only MDP> guessing though.
The .tbb file stores a DWORD containing the flags for each message. A copy of this is also stored in the .tbi file. I'm not clear on why the flags would change in rebuilding the index file since I haven't had this experience, but my guess would be that the .tbi file is used to display the flags.
