I don't know - is it possible to access one and the same IMAP mailbox
from multiple clients at the same time?

If thats the case, you can set up Mercury/32 instead of TB in server
mode, let it poll your external POP3 mailboxes and provide the mails to
the clients on your LAN via IMAP or POP3. I've set up a test environment
in a virtual machine and its fairly easy, but I haven't tried IMAP.
