Hi, all,
On 02/10/1999, at 18:43,
Allie Martin (mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED])
climbed up a big rock and began to chant:

AM> N for next unread message
AM> U for previous message in list
AM> D for next message in list
AM> Up and down arrows for true scrolling through messages. A real beauty
AM> of one finger/hand usability experience. It really rocks.
I like this :)

AM> What I'm suggesting is that TB! developers implement the scroll-lock
AM> key so that when activated it makes scrolling possible with the arrow
AM> keys without having to press that alt key at the same time. When you
AM> deactivate it the cursor becomes active as usual and scrolling is still
AM> achievable with the alt+arrow keys. This will certainly make scrolling
AM> through messages a lot easier and scrolling through a message is
AM> certainly a smoother experience than 'space barring' through it. With
AM> each page down, you have to reassert where you were at before you hit
AM> the space bar.
What about a "reverse space barring" (I like this feature), with for
example, Shift+Space (may be Alt or Ctrl, too)?
It seems simpler than toggling the "scroll" to use the arrows.
I feel the space bar more ergonomic, even if this is not its normal
use, than the arrows, even if this is their regular job.
