Hello Mike,

On Friday, December 03, 1999, 2:30:15 (GMT +07:00) you told us:

M> I'm using Bat Version 1.35. I can not configure my Bat E-mail
M> Software to function within our network. Our Server has the WWW and
M> smtp and pop direct connection and I am trying to use the Bat on my
M> work-station. I have been attempting this for several months
M> without success. All suggestions will be appreciated.

What's the setting of your SMTPServer and POPServer(MailServer) in
Account|Properties|Transport ?

M> We are using a local area network with Hub. Our local Server has
M> internal IP of 193.169.1.5 We are using TCP/IP components.

M> Are Primary Network Logon is: Client For Microsoft Networks.

After logon, can you pinging 193.169.1.5 or smtp.yourdomain.com or
pop.yourdomain.com ?

M> I am also open for suggestions if there may be a better way to
M> configure this network in order to get Bat Software to function.

If you can ping your ip server address but failed to ping the host
name (smtp.yourdomain.com), try to put ip address for SMTPServer and
POP(mail)Server.
