You may find IBM replacements more expensive if they have them then
brandnew pci cards. Just visit a few local repair shops as thats the
place where you may find isa cards.
ISA slot cards are still around but most engineers tend to keep them
as with an isa videocard you can boot a system if it has a dead
bios... The only shop which I KNOW has them NEW is in Penang as the Malay
government still use 5 1/4 floppies and things like that.
No idea about memory but they were OAK cards.

Anyway, I doubt its the 1 mb video ram.
Only result is more colours and that hasnt got anything to do with
that display errormsg I think.
On the other hand theBAT makes many temp files and you with a lot of
mail could easily get problems due to that.
Have a look in the temp directories and keep them cleaned out.
If necessary I can send you a small utility which on every boot will
delete any files in specified directories but note, it does what its
told so it will also happily delete all cdrive files if asked...
I have it in my autoexec.bat.
