This is standard for most mail programs. Since presumably you know
today's date, they just show the times. That way it is a lot easier
to check what order a conversation took place. If you check today's
messages tomorrow, then you'll notice that old ones are the way you
want them.

See above

Depends. There are several places where there are new message
templates. You can have folder specific, individual specific ones or
global account templates. Individual superceeds folder which
superceeds global. For the global ones go to Account -> Properties
and Check under Templates. (If you explore the program a little
WITHOUT relying solely on the help files you'll discover the answers
to MANY of your questions. An hour just doesn't cut it with something
as robust as The Bat!)

Check around. If you go to Account -> Options, you can set the delay
in seconds.

Again, if you explore the menus a little, you should find a very
simple solution. Go to View menu and select Message Headers (wow,
novel concept isn't it?) Or if you want more, right under it is Show
Kludges, check it out and see what suits your fancy.

Read all your new mail, or go to Options and check out that menu.
Really, how much did you look around before giving up?

Correct. It's better this way.

Can't help you there. All my duplicate named attachements get saved
as abcdef2.ext

Try again, works for me.

Select the paragraph and hit Alt-L if you want it left justified. Or,
select the paragraph, go to Utilities -> Format Block, then whatever
you need.

It's not Eudora, so why should it be the same? Unfortunately you
can't customize the shortcuts yet, but in version 2 I understand there
will be this functionality.

Go into Options - Editor Preferences and you'll find it.

Like I said, an hour is not nearly enough time to learn a whole new
piece of software. Only when you upgrade in the same line will it be
really easy. (eg. Netscape 4.5 to 4.7)

Good luck!
