However difficult it may be to translate "justify" in this context (in a
better dictionary I meanwhile found the translation "richten,
justieren"), it means everything else than "zeigen" (which is show,
display, point at).

In eMail, it is, uh, annoying, especially when being quoted. So we
agree. :-)

Now to the next formatting issue: What exactly does "Auto-format" (same
preference section as "justify on wrap") do?

Not sure if this is an Windows issue.  I assume this is an TB issue.
Other applications behave different (which proves that it is possible to
create a consistent behaviour).

What can I say but "absolutely true".  Made the same experience this
evening in context with networking issues.  "You have to do this and
that" but no detailed explanation *how* to do it.
