If you install Dr Web and just use the return key to install the
thing, you end up with a Russian program.
This by the way is a trick one can use with many programs as most will
happily produce some kind of working installed product by selecting
all the 'defaults'
Obviously it could with some products reformat the hard disk (g).
BUT, DrWeb itself via the menus allows changing to English and the
Spider on the bar needs a right click to change options.
Goto the local drweb ini file (its own directory) and zap the block
for MSDOS and the name of the loading Russian language file).
Result, its all in ENglish.
Adinf is more of a problem but If you first install the ALSO released
English version on the English page and then install the Russian
version (no idea if it makes any difference) the result is an
installed adinf in English.
If you just install it from the Russian page a required language file
is missing and while one no doubt could figure out what to install
easier is first to install the english version so the program
considers it an upgrade....
Best regards,
tracer
