To a seasoned TB user perhaps, but as a newbie to TB, I didn't expect it
to delete all my unread messages as well. I didn't know how TB defined
"old"... but I do now. :o) I mistaking thought "old" somehow had a
prerequisite of being 'read'.

My problem though is that I don't always get a chance to read all my
messages in a given folder, and so I have to come back the next day for
instance, to finish reading them. What I would like TB to do, is to delete
all my read messages, other than the ones that I've parked, yet allow the
unread messages to remain. I don't presently see any way to do that with
TB (or any of the other E-Mail Programs I have for that matter), so for
now, I'm back to disabling the feature, and simply deleting
messages/threads after they've been read.
