    Because it will either be one of two varieties.

    1: Click on it and scan.

    This is bad because it is an added step that the user could screw up,
forget, whatever.  Because of that, chances are it would be #2 or people would
advocate #2.

    2: Automatic on incoming mail.

    Needless processor overhead.  If TB! keeps sane policies on what email
can and cannot do to the client there is no need for such a hook.  Most, if
not all, modern virus scanners (old scanners are useless, I hope I don't need
to explain why) install themselves and check everything that *runs*.  This is
better because it only worries about stuff that can actually damage the system
instead of taking the shotgun approach.

    Virus security is best left to be done properly.  Don't give the users a
false sense of security with such a useless feature as presented in #1 or
waste processor time duplicating automatic effort as in #2.
