Because a dedicated editor will always be better than an editor thrown in
to be "good enough."

Who ever said non-standard editors? I have always stated that it was
ASCII text. All of the editors that we've talked about have been for editing
ASCII text.

Nothing we have ever talked about has changed that.

This is funny. You're running a Unix box. Get pine, mutt or elm and see
how they call an external text editor to do the work. That is what we're
discussing here. Of all people I'd think another unix user would get it right
off the bat.

Please, before responding again, read and understand the thread
completely. Since noone has ever mentioned Office products I fail to see why
you're making the assumption that is what we were discussion. In fact, we've
made it abundantly clear that we're talking ASCII editors.

Rehashed now. So far out of left field that you're chatting with the UFOs
in the wheat field in the next state? Yes. :)
