Many good editors have been written; trying to keep up with it while

I confirm I was talking about ASCII text editors. You might want to
use a non-standard editor, meaning the functionality, as long as the
output is: plain text. :-)

"Edit" doesn't mean colours and fonts. It means you type, delete or add
letters or words etc. This thing I'm using to create this reply in TB,
is called an "editor", with which I am "editing" this very message. No
colours, fonts or other fancy stuff. ;-)
