This has been discussed before, and it turns out it isn't a bug
exactly. When you save a message, you are essentially putting the
message in your Outbox and then parking it. Except in the Outbox it
isn't called parked, it is called saved. You can't delete Parked
messages, so your saved message can't be deleted. (Try moving the
message to another folder by drag and drop, you'll see what I mean).
Now there is an easy work around. When you create a message and save
it, there is an icon with a little hourglass and paper. Click on
that, it will removed, just the same way you unpark a message
elsewhere. Now you can delete your message. In fact it is a good way
to edit a message that you've marked to send later. If you "park" it,
then you can double click on the message to edit it. Once you know
how it works, I would consider it more of a feature than a bug.
