I am just now feeling the crunch of this limitation in TB as well.
Going through a MIME digest is tedious to say the least.

Yes indeed. BTW, FWIW, the spacebar *does* move you to the next
message, but unfortunately that's the next message down in the list
whether it's read or unread. I sort my messages in descending order of
date and time and I don't thread messages so it comes in handy with
navigating.

I used Forte Agent for mail for about a year and half and still use it
for News. While Agent's editor introduced me to WYSIWYG editing in e-mail
and news messaging, and yes, it does have a great text wrapping/reflow
engine, it's not as flexible as TB!'s editor. TB!'s editors strength lies
in flexibility whereas Agents editors strength lies in predictability (not
much there to predict anyway). I hands down, prefer TB!'s editor. :-)
