Heh...

ok, how about this:

message list message view account view
Ctrl+] nothing next unread next unread
Up/Down next message next line next folder

Ok, is there any way to be able to view messages? Man, I love agent's
single-key read...

Start at the top of the folder list.

Hit space. You're at the first unread message.
Hit space again and again to page the message.
hit space at the end of a message to go to the next unread message
If the next unread message is in another folder, go to it.

Is there any way to do this sort of thing in The Bat!, while not
trying to remember which pane has focus? I'm reading a message, I hit
down arrow. Oops! I was in message list! Damn, ok, up up up to find
the message I was on (meanwhile now messages I haven't read are marked
read), TAB into the message. Ok, down down down, read. Ctrl+].
Nothing. Damn. Tab tab, down arrow ('cause I haven't read those
"read" messages, but I can read well enough some messages in less than
a second so the setting is at zero) tab to use downarrows. Again,
wishing for Agent's "cursor locked message window" or whatever where
up/down would scroll a line, and there wasn't a concept of arrows
moving a cursor in the message window.... umm, ok, Ctrl+], oh yeah,
wrong window, tab tab ^]... you get the point.

So, can I navigate the freaking program without tabbing all over the
universe?

Is there a way to turn off that stupid (to me) quick search? I don't
want to quick search when I hit 'r', I meant to reply but am still
used to Agent...

-tom!
