        The %QINCLUDE="qt handle" does this. Create a quick template,
use the %QINCLUDE macro and whatever you do to that quick template
affects all templates in which it is used. The %QINCLUDE macro has
made using external files unnecessary.

        Well of course. The signature that I use below is a signature
quick template. I use it for the TBUDL/TBBETA address book templates
and whenever I need to otherwise use it, your example being a case in
point. In fact, all my signatures are placed in quick templates of
their own. Edit a signature and the change affects all templates in
which they may be inserted. See, no external files needed.:)
