Yup. Allows for some fun tricks. For example, when I tried VMWare it was
on a Linux install on my Windows box (Games, man, games). I had lilo as my
boot loader and it could either hit Windows or Linux, defaulted to Linux. So
I installed VMWare and had it boot the exact same drive that the machine
booted of normally. This allowed me to keep everything pretty much identical
on the Windows side. Problem is that when I wasn't fast enough it would try
to boot the Linux partition. IE... I could boot the OS I was running into
itself.

Kids, don't try that at home. ;)
