That much was obvious. I'm honestly surprised that so many people took

Why? We already have it. Filter to a script to strip headers, pipe to
any speech syntheses program, done. I was doing that with my Fido-Net email
for a while a good 10 years ago on my 386sx-16 with about the same quality as
the voice they used. *shrug*
The other problem with the Windows environment, everything needs to be
reinvented again, poorly.
