That's what I meant. If the e-mail address was there then it would do a
simple match of the e-mail address.
The alt+click function works with the other columns BTW. If you need a
quick way to look through only flagged messages, alt+click on the flag
glyph for any flagged message. The same for messages with attachments.
This is just a side gem that I noted when looking into your query. :-)

Well, this is not how it works in essence. It does a very simple match of
what is displayed in the field. Use the search applet for doing searches
to your specialised need.
