Nope. The "Subject" header is one of the RFC "optional" ones. Anyway -
I believe the point has been made in many different ways and
directions. Also, it's all been said before. If the programmers want
it different, they've heard the arguments and will do what *they*
consider best.
SO - I wheel out the demised equine and solemnly pronounce this topic
a DEAD HORSE.
