Hello Allie,
On 26 May 2000 at 07:18:42 GMT -0500 (which was 05:18 where I live)
Allie ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) typed:

This is exactly what I have done. There are plenty of entries but
they are all corrupt.
I also tried the suggestion by Jast. I have got a complete copy of
the address book on a zip disk but all I managed to get was two
address books with exactly the same corrupt data.
The Bat entries in the registry were backed up with the utility that
someone sent to this list. It seems odd that the actual backup and
a normal copy on a zip disc both result in a corrupt address file.
Everything is as it was, even all my sorting filters are exactly as
they were, in fact there are one or two that didn't work as planned
before that now do. It's just this bloody address book that giving
me the run around.
Could the fact that I've installed half a dozen or so beta's since
the backups were made have anything to do with it?
Maybe someone could let me know the exact registry location the
address book details are held and I could try to extract them from
the backup.
