Hello Allie,

On 26 May 2000 at 11:24:28 GMT -0500 (which was 09:24 where I live)
Allie ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) typed:

No! I few months ago I used the utility that someone sent to this
list to back up the relevant registry entries which I stored in TB's
directory. I then used TB for a few months, updating beta's as I
went. Yesterday I backed up everything with Windows own backup
utility and restored TB including the registry backup that was made
  a few months ago.

It's that registry backup that I've had to use. I know I should have
made a more recent backup but I assumed backing everything up in
one complete file would work, it did for everything else... Except
  the address book.

MDP> What version were you using when you made the backup?

Good question, I've been trying to remember but there have been so
many beta's since 1.41. It'll be easier to re enter all my addresses
as and when I need them.

My major concern was the custom macro's and regexp's that have been
sent to this list that I used in my templates. I saved most of them
to a separate file so that's not as much a problem as I first
 thought...

All but one anyway, the one that reply's to a specific person on the
list, ie To: Allie on TBUDL rather than just Allie. So if Allie could
oblige me once more with that one I'd be very grateful.

This time I'm going to make regular exports of my addresses to one of
the file formats that TB can import back just in case.

Thanks for all your help anyway.
