By using the filters you can setup to extract any attachment to a
directory, and then there is another filter that will let you execute
a program. So maybe not .vbs scripts but you could unzip an .exe file
and then execute it if you knew the path\filename beforehand; using
just the filters in TB. I guess if you have a way to make a .vbs file
behave like an .exe file extension you could technically execute the
attachment automatically.

I bet this could be used for a frontend in a fidonet style network
(*.pkt *.msg) and quick-mail styled (*.qwk)

I bet this is beyond some folks ability to setup. Because of all the
filter checking to make sure you have the correct file[s], filter[s],
filter logic, the external third party program[s], account[s], email
address[s], batch file[s], and path[s] involved to make it work. You
can probably make it even more elaborate than this, I bet you could
encrypt things, and resend or redirect encrypted mail this way too
using a simple first level logic match or even a batch file / script,
since pgp, and other encryption programs all seem to have command
lines. (I can see making a 'designer network' even)

But, if you were worried that a VB Script is going to automatically
fire off without the user making any input, I suspect you'll be
waiting a long time, like forever, unless you have made your system
accommodate it beforehand.

I really Love the bat. possibilities are endless.
