Ultimately, I was able to figure out that I had to wait for all of the headers to download before doing anything. However, once I hit ctrl-2, I was unable to toggle off the tickmark on the "receive" column for all 4000 messages. Rather, about 3200 would toggle off, and the remaining 800 would have the tickmark remain. Ultimately, I downloaded those 800 message, which was a lot better than downloading 4000 messages! (And, then, of course, I deleted the duplicates.) By the way, my wife also experienced the same problem earlier this year for several months. Ultimately the problem stopped just as suddenly as it started. Unfortunately, becasue I am not a member of the beta group, your link would not work for me. I had to log in to read what the link linked to and my regular Ritlabs log in credentials would not work. The real question, of course, if this is a known bug that has existed for some time, wny does it still exist? Or, has it been known for only a very short while? Once again, thank you very much for taking the time to respond and explain how to deal with this. I genuinely appreciate it!! All the best, -- Avi Avram Sacks, using The Bat!
