Hello Bat-users,

I have since a week a problem with my smtp and while it likely is
not a Bat problem maybe some have an idea.

I use 2 isp's, with my own smtp in the USA.
It specifies the range of ip's for both isp's and we checked
settings are still the same as before and correct.

I cannot send mail via one isp since last week. basically it c annot
connect with the smtp server the Bat says.
Other friend has same problem on same isp so its not mysettings and
he only uses that one ISP.

I asked the isp and they came back with telling it was security for
them, I think they confuse the situation as I log in with them but
use a different mailserver which is something I should be able to
  do...
On the other hand if they somehow prevent me to access my mailserver
in the USA for SENDING, I can receive... how to get around that.

If in dos, I can ping the server, its there. If in Visual route under
windows it cannot find the mailserver the one time I tried.

I run simple DNS at present so I have in effect a DNS server on my
system, and it KNOWS where the server is.
I still cannot send my mail...

  Advice welcome....
