That's probably a bit too precise considering the very real and
significant possibility that his problems may involve more than the
registry but also other system files. A Windows reinstall is probably
the way to go, but a total reformat taking all his application
directories etc. is probably drastic. I haven't done that in a long
time, ie, through three NT installs and this Win2k install. The same TB!
installation has been used since my first TB! installation and the TB!
registry entries etc. have survived the latter two NT and the Win2k
completer reinstalls. Total reformats are rarely necessary.
