Good to know that things went well Nick. :-)

Norton System Works?!! Nooo Nooo. That's a silent and deadly
system destroyer in my experience. I've seen two of my buddies system go
down on account of it. They reinstalled and it went down again with
Norton System Works. They had to do a third install. What does it really
do for you? Seems like a real gimmick to me. Get a decent antivirus
package like Dr. Web or so and leave it at that. Windows scan disk and
the windows defraggers are good enough as far as I'm concerned. Norton
Software has disappointed me. They're mostly bloated and buggy these
days.

Well, of course. Why go beta with Zone Alarm? The thing runs in
the background anyway and is not supposed to get in your way. Most of
all, it can interfere with the proper functioning of multiple
applications and your networking. I'd never use a beta of that type of
software personally, and I'd only upgrade from a working version if it's
*really* worthwhile. This current version runs fine for me at present so
I'll let it stay right there until whenever.
