Now you guys tell me! ;o)  Oh well, it may have been tad drastic, but I
wanted to get rid of all the old junk I had lying around. I wasn't even
aware that deleting the Windows Directory would also wipe out my
existing Registry. Nonetheless, my System is so much faster now...
cleaner... have recovered so much HD space... no more connectivity
problems... and I have finally got IE 5.01 SP1 working properly. That in
itself was worth the effort. :o)

I'm just debating now whether to re-install Norton System Works, and
ZoneAlarm... the Beta of which caused all my problems in the first
place. If I do install ZA, it will only be the current version.
