I have a copy here of O'Reilly's "Mastering Regular Expressions". I had
read the first couple of chapters and had to stop because of my recent
formidable exams but it was great and it's comprehensive. I was
understanding all of what I read and I'm a medicine man, so that says a
LOT. :-) One thing though, it requires practice like a spoken language.
If your not going to really use it a lot, it's probably not worth the
effort. I've forgotten most of what I read. I'm going to have a go at it
again since I bought the darned thing. <g>
