And I can't think of a feasible *reason* for permanently preventing
someone from joining. someone need sto be banned if he continues to
use expletives (which he didn't), make racial or otherwise derogatory
remarks (which he didn't) or is maliciously trying to disturb the list
(which he wasn't). However, if he decides to rejoin under anotehr
identity, it will be very quickly known who he is if he sends the
first posting in his old style.
So if he wants to join under another name because he thinks the ML is
good for him, and he "behaves" so we won't know who he is, I see no
reason for trying to pick out his IP number and ban him again just
because "it is him <expletive consored>".
I'm crossposting this to TBOT, because I think that's where this
thread should be continued.
