IOW's any message not addressed directly to you will be moved to the
trash. Mail that fits this description include *all* discussion list
mail, most newsletters to which you could subscribe, some software
announcement subscriptions and others as well as finally ... SPAM.

At the top of the list?! Can't do that. This means that messages not
addressed to those three addresses will be moved to the trash because
this is the first filter rule they will encounter.
Leave the filter at the bottom of the list. This is where mine is. You
then have to have filters to filter out legitimate mail that's not
directly addressed to you such as discussion list mail, further up the
list of filters.
A good rule is that the filters that are precise should be the first
filters while the imprecise ones are the last.
My last two filters, in order of appearance do the following:
a) Keep all messages addressed to me to the Inbox
b) Moves all messages to the SPAM folder.
I certainly can't place these filters at the top of the list.:-) They're
quite OK at the bottom of the list because all my known legitimate mail
has already been filtered, ie, >90% of the mail that I normally get.
