Mmmh, I first didn't understand the problem properly but now I see what you
mean. You want to collapse *all* threads at once and re-collapse *all* at once.
Well, then you have to face lots of clicks.

This is why I always collapse one thread at a time using CTRL-+ (CTRL plus) and
re-collapse it using CTRL - (CTRL minus).
