Hi,

I am a new user of The Bat and I have the following questions about
program setup:

First, I would like to know how I can turn off the popup windows that
really get in my way when retrieving mail. I have the View->Log Panel
active so I can see what is being done, but I am _very_ frustrated
with the popup windows when performing an ALT-F2 retrieval of all my
accounts. Is there a toggle for this somewhere? All I can find is a
toggle to make them "sticky" which isn't what I want. It seems to be a
basic information window, with progress information I'm not interested
in. (The same is true when sending mail...)

Most other mail packages I've used just print this progress info in
the status bar which is nice and clean.

Next, is there an easy way to turn off the Templates for message
creation/reply, etc? (Hello, %whatever...) They are adjustable for
every account/folder, but I basically want them off all the time,
unless I specifically turn them on for a specific account or folder.
The best I can do is tediously go through each quick template and make
it blank, which is very time consuming. Certainly this isn't the only
way to turn them off, is it?

Finally, how come the toolbars and From/To/Subject header bars look so
very different from all other applications? The Bat seems to use its
own for some reason (rather than normal microsoft ones used by all
other applications), preventing it from looking consistent, and
preventing those items from being "skinned" by software like
Windowblinds. (www.windowblinds.net) Not overly important, but I
thought I'd ask.

Thanks.
