Well, TB does not have any formatting rules, so they are defined by
your templates. You're right when you say it is a bit of work in the
beginning, but it also provides a lot of flexibility. For your
purposes, I don't think you need to do much.
Just go into Account -> Properties -> Templates and paste in the
templates. You do need to use the keyboard shortcuts for copying
(CTRL-C) and pasting (CTRL-V). These changes should propagate to all
your folders automatically. Of course any folders with templates that
have been manually defined won't be affected.

I encourage you to explore them just a little. They are extremely
powerful, and the members on this list have created several very
useful tools using templates. Fortunately, they are willing to share
what they've done so we all benefit from their work.
