I uncovered the same things you did. 8-))) After importing several
thousand messages from Outlook Express to The Bat!, I noticed that in
*some* folders, the last two letters of each post were snipped.

For instance, old archived posts from onelist.com maillists instead of
ending with

www.onelist.com

ended

www.onelist.c

My signature, Alex., came out as "Ale". And I used to correspond with
a woman whose nickname is "Cattleya" (that's an orchid), and her
signature in The Bat now reads "Cattle"! 8-)))

So I deleted all the imported messages and imported them all over
again. Once more, in those same folders as previously, the final two
letters of each post were snipped. But the great majority of folders
(let's say, 45 out of 50) were imported correctly from OE. (And I did
compress all folders in OE before exporting them.)

Finally I decided that this is a minor problem for me to get upset
about. Life goes on. 8-)) I wish, instead, that RITlabs would
finally make those damn customized window frame positions in the Bat's
main window stick! I swear every single day about this horrible
embarrassing glitch in The Bat. But I don't regret having paid $ 35.
