As I can see you managed to sign (and even enctypt?) your messages
with PGP 7... I didn't even manage this to function in TB! How did you
do it? If I try to sign a message w/ PGP 7 I only get a message box
saying that I do not have a private key and to first create one.... :(

No, this is not my intention. I think they should continue both, as
some users might think that S/MIME is the appropriate tool for their
job.

As Thomas pointed out it seems to be NAI's fault, as they do not make
the source code of PGP available fast enough to public and not
RITLabs.
