Hi Januk, Thanks for your reply.
In Monday, January 01, 2001 17:29:42 -0800 you wrote the following
in regards to "TB! v1.48f - ABxxxPPP problem":

In the TB! folder I inserted:
Hi %ABofromHANDLE='%ABofromFIRSTNAME="Hi %OFROMFNAME"',
Something:
Then I responded to your msg. Here you can see the result.
As there is no "Something:" I haven't the vaguest idea where TB!
is getting the template.
Then I changed the *default* greeting template to read:
Hi %ABofromHANDLE='%ABofromFIRSTNAME="%OFROMFNAME"',
Something else
So that doesn't seem to be source either.
In addition, I added your name to my AB via CTRL-W. The properties appear as:
FN=Januk
LN=Aggarwal
Handle=Jan
As you can see, I gave you a familiar middle name with this msg
as the result.
I also went to my inbox where I rcv *non-list* msgs. There I found
a msg, went into the AB & changed the entry for this person to
include a Handle. Then I F4'd a response with the same result,
i.e. %oFromFname was inserted in the template.
This was also true for a complete "reply"
There were no duplicates for any of the 3 AB entries. I confirmed
this by doing an F7 search of all my ABs.
Hmmmmmmmm.
